Southwest trip

Recently I traveled to the southwest visiting Arches national park, antelope canyon, monument valley and bryce canyon. It was truly a great trip however I would suggest to others that wish to visit these sites, go during spring or fall when it is not so hot. The temp was 98 degrees in all areas except bryce, where it was in the 70's. Make sure when you go you allow yourself plenty of time to do some hiking. At moab utah near arches national park there is plenty of hotels and restuarants. At monumnet there is only one restuarant with no housig available. Antelope canyon is located near page arizona, which has several hotels and retuarants to choose from. Be advised that antelope canyon requires a Navajo guide to view. At Bryce canyon there are very few hotels at bryce. I beleive there were only two with two restuarants and gas stations. There are a few more hotels in near by towns yet do not look like high quality.
