This summer I have made it to 2 civil war reenactments one in chehalis, wa and the other in roy, wa. Both were good. It's a unique thing to photography since you don't see people in civil war clothing everyday. You don't have any way to be picky about lighting or time of day since they set thier battle times which are not the best lighting. I would love to try photographying the cannons blasting at night yet they don't have night battles.
