Back in September on went out on the "hawaian chieftain" tall ship and took pictures during a mock cannon battle between the chieftain and "lady washington" tall ship. This was a really fun, different experience to do. I had never been on a tall ship and to sail for almost 2 hours for about 45$ ( I think that's how much it costs can't remember for sure). All the crew members are dressed in period clothing. It was a little akward trying to take photographs especially during the cannon battle because you can not move around freely form one side to the other of the ship while they are using gun powder. So I found that many of the shots I wanted to take I was not in the right spot to be able to take them. Yet I did still manage to catch the flame out of the cannon as well as some great whole ship shots.
